Course Objectives
After successfully completing this course, students will be able to:

Discuss the functions and activities in the supply chain functional areas of inventory management, transportation, warehousing and material handling, and packaging

Describe the trade-offs related to supply chain design
-
Apply supply chain knowledge to the evaluation of supply chain design challenges in case situations

Discuss the dimensions of supply chain risk management and what firms can do to mitigate it
-
Discuss how supply chain executives manage talent
-
Review future trends in supply chain management
Students will meet the course objectives through the following actions:
